Please help as I can't really reinstall OS on this machine. Forgot to mention, the main reason why I was trying to do this is because neither cifs now nfs are working in this machine.įor cifs, I get mount error: cifs filesystem not supported by the system. Kernel.x86_64 3.10.0-1160.62.1.el7 3.10.0-1160.66.1.el7 have tried almost everything online like setting the default grub to 0 and whatnot but nothing worked. When I run yum list kernel, this is what I get I also digged a bit deeper and found out that kernel modules are not really loaded for 42. Whenever I reboot, it keeps booting into 42 and there isn't an option in the grub menu to boot into 66.
I have been trying to troubleshoot this for a while now.
